Refrigeration call for a Federal Reach-In refrigerator not cooling with a leak. Installed ordered parts, charged unit, and unit pulled down to temp and cycled off. Call is complete.
Refrigeration call. 4 Drawer low boy under pasta station at 28 degrees. Evaporator and drain pan fully and evenly iced up. Manual initiated defrost. Condenser coil and cover plugged with grease. Chemically cleaned coil and cover several times. Also replaced prefilter. Drawer gaskets and rollers good. Kitchen ambient temperature comfortable. Box at 25 and dropping. Call is complete.
Refrigeration call. Found thermostat set to cold and adjusted temperature to -8f with a 4 degree diff. Call is complete.
HVAC call. Gained access to the roof and located new Lennox RTU. No power at prodigy board. Checked disconnect, which had power. Found line wire at compressor contactor middle pole had popped out from contactor. Middle pole was burnt up. Replaced contactor and tested operation. RTU is now operational. Call complete.
Refrigeration call. Nine door freezer was in the low 20s. Ice cream was melting. Checked evaporator coil and found no ice. Liquid line was cold. Located temp control and found that Ranco ETC was set for 20 degrees F with a differential of 5. Setting was way too high. Set temp control for -10F with 5 degree diff. Set up ladder and accessed condensing unit on roof. Sight glass was full and operation was good. Freezer is at 2 degrees and dropping. Job complete.
HVAC Service call. Preventative Maintenance service completed per contracted agreement. All requirements per seasonal obligations have been met. Any issues found during PM service have been brought to the attention of the appropriate personnel and have been defined as either a critical or a non critical issue for their review. Arrived on site . Checked in with office manager who explained where water has been seen around the Ice Machine. Opened up panels, no water stains inside machine. Drained and filled reservoir to ensure it is not overflowing. Checked drain and supply connections, both were somewhat loose. Tightened hose clamp on drain and tightened braided hose for supply. Poured water down drain, no leaks from drain hose.Unit operational, refrigeration call is complete.
