Refrigeration call for a Silverking reach-in refrigerator running warm. First cleaned coils which had excessive grease due to exhaust hoods being shut down. Adjusted temp control down, set at 7 lowered to 4-5. Box cycled back on at 40 and dropped to 34. Call is complete.
HVAC Service call. Preventative Maintenance service completed per contracted agreement. All requirements per seasonal obligations have been met. Any issues found during PM service have been brought to the attention of the appropriate personnel and have been defined as either a critical or a non-critical issue for their review. HVAC call is complete.
HVAC call for Carrier RTU. Gained roof access & located RTU. Tested voltage through control circuitry. Found economizer Molex connection disconnected. Reconnected. Found CKT 1 low pressure switch stuck open. Replaced. Since ambient temperature was relatively low, blocked condenser and de energized a fan motor to maintain good head pressure. Found low charge. Charged unit and inspected for leaks. Found no major leaks. Call is complete.
HVAC call. Unit found with no power, nothing operating. Confirmed power at receptacle. First point of origination in appliance found voltage lost. Cap bent up and in poor condition but no appearance of cord being split. Replaced cap and unit is now running. Call is complete.
Refrigeration call. Set up ladder in kitchen which was busy from morning till afternoon. Located AHU and recorded tag information. Found evaporator coil plugged with grease as was return air grill. Exhaust fan is having issues and is to be repaired on seperate w.o. and is being addressed. Quote recently approved. Chemically cleaned entire coil multiple times which was challenging to access. Picked up replacement filters and belt and replaced. Checked unit operations. Gained roof access at mall security. Found chattering relay and burn mark behind it. Replaced. Given current ambient conditions 55 degree ambient, system pressures and line temps are with appropriate range. Fan cycling switch is bypassed. Will leave as so. Will address in summer p.m. Unit operational. Call is complete.
Customer needed a stand up cooler wired for a lighting assembly. Light is installed and functioning properly. We also installed new door hinges on one door, a new handle on another, and new ballasts.
